We moved on and earned with Essex our first AKC Master title and the qualification for the Master Amateur Retriever Club Inaugural Invitationals 2017. Rocket and Mystic earned their Senior titles.

Start of the field season 2016. We attended the Yankee Waterfowlers Hunting Retriever Club Single Championship today. Again, Essex demonstrated great markability and came in second in the Open stake. Youngster Fenwick placed third in Puppies.
Morris Animal Foundation Lifetime Study

Rocket from our 2013 litter who is enrolled in the Morris Animal Foundation Golden Retriever Lifetime Study to fight cancer, had her second annual veterinary exam.
"The Golden Retriever Lifetime Study is the largest, most comprehensive prospective canine health study in the United States. The study’s purpose is to identify the nutritional, environmental, lifestyle and genetic risk factors for cancer and other diseases in dogs. Each year, with the help of veterinarians and dog owners, the Foundation collects health, environmental and behavioral data on 3,000+ enrolled golden retrievers."
