For Essex's first litter we chose Ranger who comes from an outstanding Canadian breeding line. Ranger, a son of the 2010 litter out of Tidewaters Weekend Gladiator - "Drake" and Tidewaters Highland Dancer - "Bree", is very tractable, talented and hard charging of which he has already given proof in field competitions as well as in regular upland bird and waterfowl hunts. Because of his character he is an even-tempered and easy-care companion when it is not his turn to retrieve.
