2013 - Ranger & Essex Litter
Our 2013 litter arrived.
Essex whelped eight puppies early this morning between 3:45am and 8:45am. She got six females and two males. Essex as well as the puppies are doing very well.

Essex feels very well. She has grown huge but, she still enjoys to exercise. Her favorite place is now the couch to relax.

At the end of the eighth week of her pregnancy Essex feels very well.

We are nearly at the end of the eighth week of pregnancy. Essex continues to enjoy her daily walks: she likes especially sniffing around and digging deep holes. She keeps eating like a little predatory. It's still one week until her due date.

It's nearly seven weeks now that Essex is pregnant. It's is not only that her outline has changed but there is also a significant change in her behavior. She still loves her daily walks but now, she is much more interested in sniffing and digging holes.

By the end of the sixth week of her pregnancy, Essex's belly has grown significantly. She still loves her daily walks and retrieving her toys. She also frequently enjoys cuddling.

In the fifth week of her pregnancy, Essex ist still quick on her paws. But, now she needs a rest from time to time between retrieving or digging holes. Her outlines change bit by bit. A small tummy has grown by now.
